| The Good Food Company
West, Inc. was founded in 1984 by Patricia Breen, a former top producer for Merrill Lynch
in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Patricia passed away with Lateral Sclerosis in 1993,
leaving her two stores to her niece, Christina Teegarden. Good Food Company sells only all natural, preservative and chemical free,
and organic products. Our first
natural food supermarket called Good Food Company West was located at 33521 W. 8 Mile
Road. This store was approximately 12,000 square feet and was the first and largest of its
kind in Michigan. In 1993, it was moved to 42615 Ford Road, Canton, Michigan - a huge,
23,000 square foot store. However, we lost our lease in 2006, so this
store has now been closed.
Our current store, Good Food Company
East, Inc., is located at 74 W. Maple, Troy, Michigan. It opened in 1990 and was expanded
from 15,000 square feet to 18,500 square feet in 1999.
